Due to our continuous growth, we are now looking to build the next generation of engineers! We are looking for Graduate Engineers, Electrical and Mechanical, who will be eager to join a multi-disciplinary team on technically challenging projects, providing sound technical and design support to ensure project requirements and clients’ specifications are fully met.

This role will be suitable for candidates who are able to juggle many different conflicting demands and priorities, whilst simultaneously striving to advance technical skills.

Responsibilities
  • Ensuring that all work is checked by a senior member of the engineering team
  • Identifying own training needs with support from a mentor
  • Compiling specifications, drawings, and relevant contract documents, maintaining the required technical quality of work, ensuring that designs comply with the relevant codes, standards, regulations, and procedures
  • Carrying out engineering calculations using company standard engineering software
  • Maintaining knowledge of technical developments, national and international standards, and legislative requirements related to the discipline
  • Providing Electrical or Mechanical Building Services Engineering design to buildings and infrastructure under the supervision of the senior team, working within the parameters given
  • Ensuring assigned work is carried out in compliance with the agreed budget and schedule
  • Identifying scope and schedule changes in accordance with the Change Control Process, maintaining planning and cost control on all scope
Qualifications
  • A relevant degree in Electrical or Mechanical Building Services Engineering, or equivalent qualification
  • Graduate member of an appropriate professional body such as ASHRAE, CIBSE, IET, MinstMC, MIHEEM
  • Results-oriented individual with strong problem-solving, technical realisation, and coordination skills
  • Technical knowledge in primary discipline and an understanding of Building Services Engineering and interdisciplinary design through all stages of the design process
  • Good interpersonal communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
  • Experienced with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
