This iconic development dramatically transforms the shoreline of the Caspian Sea. The architectural form is derived from the emblem of Azerbaijan and inspired by the Sydney Opera House.
The Caspian Waterfront includes leisure facilities such as multiscreen cinema, play zones, and international standard ice hockey rink, together with retail and dining tenancies.
The MEP systems considered the evolving use of the building, to allow flexibility of sub-let areas as tenants come on board. The lack of external spaces for plant also created major restrictions with seawater cooling – one of the crucial design features employed to overcome these challenges.
